Dear Friend,
We recently had a new client come to the center with her two children under 2 years-old. When she entered the Center, it was evident that she was overwhelmed, knowing that she didn’t have what she needed to care for her babies. Lily was fleeing a domestic violence situation and moved to Madison, from across the country, with just a car-full of items. Staff and volunteers were able to spend time with her, picking out baby items and loading her up with all the supplies she would need to get off to a fresh, new start. She has returned each month for materials and support and is settling in to her new place. Lily is just one among the 898 PEOPLE we served last month.
We believe that ALL MOMS should have accessibility to essential items needed to care for their babies.
